About Me

Greetings and welcome!  My name is Allen Kent.  I was raised in Hawkins, Texas and currently reside in Mesquite, Texas.  I served a tour in the United States Air Force after high school graduation.  My hobbies (other than photography) are hiking, rock climbing and (when I have time) computer gaming.

My wife, Carolee, and I have three great kids- Heather, Spencer and Brier.

What's Up with the 'Five-Two'?

It's all about giving what you have back to God.  It was all His in the first place anyway.

Personally, I was inspired by rapper KJ-52.  He, in turn, took inspiration from John 6:9- the miracle with the five loaves and two fish.  Jesus took what a boy had and fed over 5,000 people.  Not only that, but he still had food left over.  Like KJ-52's talent in music, I hope any talent I have in photography brings Him greater glory.

The one true Son of God, Jesus Christ, is the only way to salvation.  If you don't know Jesus, it's hell without him.  ;-)
