Today was Brier's actual 6th birthday.  As a special treat, I picked up desserts at On The Border on my way home from work.  Since Carolee was still working on the home-made shrimp creole and it was a special day, we ate our desserts first.  I wasn't complaining since that probably meant everyone would eat less creole and leave more leftovers for me to take to work.  ;-)

There's also more pictures of our new cat, Bijou.  She's just about fully adjusted to her new home.  Brier has been running her ragged.  Bijou's probably not use to this much activity and she gives out long before Brier does when they play together.  Hopefuly she'll loose a little weight in the process.  She's not terribly over-weight but she could stand to loose a few (like someone else I know).
