Town East Baptist Church hosted an Elvis-themed Valentine's Day banquet to benefit the Youth Department.  For $6 per person the youth served up filet mignon, baked potato, salad and cheese cake.  Elvis even made a brief appearance and did a couple of his hits.  An additional $2 got you a framed 4 x 6 portrait (taken by yours truly) to immortalize the evening.  Much to my surprise, several men stepped up to the microphone and either sang to their significant other or read poetry.  It looked like everyone had a good time and a tidy little profit (after costs) went to fund future activities for the Youth.
