I went downtown in Dallas to look at some urban climbing locations. These are some miscellaneous photos I took while doing that.
| It was pretty chilly today. Birds were vying for space to get out of the wind. |
| This was a hole in the brick of an abandoned building. |
| Another unoccupied building. The electrical disconnects used to be fenced off and secure. The incoming lines are now cut and, although the chain link is gone, the frame is still up and the gate is padlocked. I just thought it was funny. |
| Man, that's one good looking church. |
| I only brought one camera and one lens. If I'd had my telephoto, I would have taken some detail shots. Maybe next time I'm down there. |
| Another scene that tickled my funny bone. I take the 'Half Dead' comment to mean the bottom half of that panel no longer works. |
| Because of all the old and unoccupied buildings on the east end of downtown, 'Half Dead' took on a little different meaning at the time. |
| I was taking my time scoping out the area and noticed the fire escape on this building on the other side of the parking lot in front of me. |
| Then I noticed someone on the 5th floor was outside. I wasn't sure if they lived there and had come out or if it was someone trying to get in. |
| I finally decided it was just someone who wasn't allowed to smoke indoors. |
