Deer season closes next weekend but this weekend was the last we would be able to get down to the ranch.  This was also Spencer's first deer hunt.  Unfortunately we ran into the worst weather so far this year.  We sat in the deer blind Saturday morning after the rain stopped but it was just too wet.  We didn't see anything up and moving.  So Spencer got to learn first hand the old saying- It's no fun when the rabbit's got the gun.
