The Mustangs were handed a 19-6 loss tonight by the Bears. They have one outstanding player at #12. At one point the Mustangs ran a play the Bears coach didn't like at all (illegal?). I'm not familiar enough with the rules for Middle School football but the refs didn't call anything. It was still enough for the coach to come across mid-field to our bench and speak his two-cents to our staff. The second half was full of penalties from the refs, mostly against us. I took all these pictures from the field as opposed from the stands at the previous games. I also tried a little experimentation with my camera settings. I tried shooting at a higher shutter speed for the first half (which in turn required a higher ISO). I like the change in the depth of field but had a hard time maintaining exposure. It was a very bright cloudless sky that produced some very strong contrasts. During the second half I switched to a much slower speed (about 1/60) and tried panning with the action.
