I've been feeling sluggish this whole week.  I tried climbing at Stone Works but just didn't have the energy.  Besides, Ed wasn't able to come climb and I was the only person there for most of the night.

I haven't had much interest in taking pictures lately and I didn't plan on using my camera tonight but had it in the car anyway.  It's been bugging me that I think I've been relying on artificial lighting (flash) too much lately.  I've been browsing several professional photographers web sites and maybe the comparison of quality has gotten me down.  So as I was getting ready to leave, I decided to try some different settings using available light inside (which usually isn't much of comes from various sources).

But then the comes the question of subject.  Mark and Daphne were working and the only ones there.  I've never gotten the impression Mark feels comfortable being photographed.  Daphne has been more or less tolerable about it in the past but didn't feel like having her picture taken tonight.  To tell the truth, I may just drop the whole idea of photographing people altogether.  No one ever seems interested and sometimes I feel like the 'creepy old guy with the camera'.  I do what I do because I like it but I guess in times like today, people are more suspicious and pessimistic.

Anyway, I took a few 'artsy-fartsy' photos and wasn't too disappointed with the results.
